My 4.05 FD review, 12.8.2008 Reviewer: Steve vaillancourt (LaValle, Wi) Changing from a 4.7 Final drive this one is a huge difference; even boosted I am able to use my lower gears without to much of a problem. I can now drive threw town at 25 mph at just over 3K RPM in second gear and I don't use my sixth gear unless I am going over 65mph. I have to say that it take some getting used to because of the change that you will have to make in your normal driving habits and if you don't have a boosted car I don't see the point in getting on unless you are building a monster N/A car. The one thing that did bother me is that even after setting my FD to 4.05 in Kpro my Speedo is still off by about six mph so if I'm not carful I am speeding everywhere. However for my application it works very well and I am very happy with it. 4.05 Final Drive, 3.23.2008 Reviewer: Babak Gilbert (Ormond Beach, FL) Definitely lengthens the gears but as for highway driving, there is a difference but not as great as a TSX 6th gear. Between 60-75mph, there is not much difference between stock and 4.05, but at 80+mph the difference is more and more noticeable with each additional mph. Not boosted yet, but will be this summer, and we'll see how this helps on boosted applications
