Note:
Hawk Performance burnishes its HP Plus brake pads as a final step in the factory, but all brake pads have to be bedded-in with the rotors (new or used) that they will be used against. Properly bedding-in new brake pads results in a transfer film being generated at the pad and rotor interface to maximize brake performance.

they do their job..., 7.20.2008 Reviewer: dennis (folsom, CA) I purchased these pads as part of a brake system upgrade with performance in mind. Paired with Powerslot slotted rotors, these pads give incredible stopping power. I have yet to experience ANY brake fade, and they bring me down from over 100mph with ease. Keep in mind, these are high performance pads, so they do make a lot more noise. When driving around town, coming to a slow rolling stop produces LOUD squeeks (I may have bed them in improperly), and hard braking produces more noise, but the bottom line is, if you need a pad that is suitable for high performance braking, with no brake fade, this is the pad for you. If not, get Hawk HPS.
