VTEC, 11.8.2008 Reviewer: Nichiren (Somerset, NJ) I did a lot of research on intakes for RSX-S's before buying this part from ClubRsx. Bought it along with the pre-filter a few months back so I've had the chance to drive with it for a while. The first thing you notice is how different the car feels and hitting VTEC with this on is definitely a different experience than before I installed it. This really should be your first purchase before getting any other mod. The installation was a PITA but then again, I'm not really a gearhead. It's not going to be a perfect fit since you'll probably have to bend a jutting metal part from the battery case to have enough clearance but it wasn't a big deal (you can do it by hand). The vtec transition from the stock box to this is like no other. You can actually hear and feel the vtec kick in. It is great when it is cold a night and you stomp it. Wow this thing opens up. The product was made well, but the fit in the vehicle was off a bit which required modifaction in order to fit. In my case I have factory fog lights which did not allow enough clearance for the filter. This meant that I had to remove about 1''-1 1/2'' of the piping. Also was a little displeased about removing a good portion of the inner fender well. I purchased the pre filter which I think is a must from Injen.
