Tools Required: Flat head screwdriver Pliers Stapler
Step One: Remove the staples using a flat head screwdriver and pliers on both the JDM and stock center consoles.
Step Two: Install the JDM shift boot and reuse the staples that you removed the first time. If you have trouble reusing the staples you can use a regular stapler and use the pliers to bend down the sharp points. Install the shift boot adapter using a zip tie or a rubber band.
Step Three: Reinstall the center console and screw on the shift nut. Then screw down the JDM shift knob and adjust the nut so that it is straight and to your liking.
