| Tools Required:
Ratchet
12mm and 14mm socket
Exacto Knife |
| Step One: Remove the carpet and Styrofoam from trunk. |
| Step Two: Unbolt the two 14mm strut bolts and the one 12mm bolt that holds down the silver metal plate (shown here in blue) on both the left and the right side. |
| Step Three: Attach the strut bar supports on both sides. Do not tighten down the bolts just lightly screw them on. Attach one side of the strut bar to the support to use a template. Now, cut out holes in the side carpet pieces where the strut bar will come through. Keep cutting until the bar can easily fit and mount properly on both sides through the carpet. |
| Step Four: Attach both sides of the strut bar to the supports using the 6mm allen wrench and supplied hardware. Now tighten down the two 14mm strut bolts on both the left and the right side (make sure they are tight). |
| Step Five: Reinstall the carpet into the trunk and polish the bar. Now show it off to your friends! |
