Since the Missing Link is not a bleed valve, it will also allow you to dynamically change boost without making any adjustments to the valve. The latest version of the Missing Link line incorporates a filtered diffusion port with a calculated micron filter. This latest improvement produces smoother vacuum to boost transition and a longer lasting product that is easily maintained with new filters. Previous design iterations that have now been "knocked-off" incorporate a simple metered hole on the side of the Missing Link for diffusion. This resulted in a dirty valve over time and reduced performance over the most current design.
