Project: Rebuild

In July of 2001, I purchased an Acura RSX brand new, it was the first RSX sold in Colorado and has a vin number of only 1172. During the first two years that I owed it, I drove it as a daily driver and then a local race car. At the end of the 2002 I torn the entire car down to the bare chassis and was going to rebuild it as a dedicated pro drag car. Club RSX took off and I didn't have the time that I needed to build it correctly. In April of 2002 I purchased another RSX and was using that one as a daily driver.

This second RSX has zero sentimental value since it was just another white RSX bought from an Acura dealer. Toward the middle of 2003 with my first RSX sitting behind my house covered with a tarp, I started building my second RSX into the race car I always wanted. I cut it up, removed everything that I could and went all out turning it into a true race car. This now leaves me with a bare RSX chassis and a fully built race car. What I really need is an RSX that I can drive and have fun with on the street, which leads us to Project: Rebuild.
