I was hitting constant 14.3's tonight and on my last run I hit a 14.27. I thought I wouldnt get any closer but i guess theres always room for improvement. I cant wait to get kpro:driving:
Pulled a couple of 14.2 runs back to back on cheap rubber thanks to K-Pro's traction control. I was a little rusty and over cooked the g-force sports (225/50/16) on the first run. So i droped my rev. limiter from 6k to 3.5k and got much better traction, see attached word document for slips.
my tuner went to hondata training that was taught by Doug, the hondata software developer. when he told him what my mods were and was talking about timing and stuff, doug told him he needed to make the a/f 14.2-14.7. my tuner was shocked that he said to make it that lean. the question is that...
I'm a little frustrated with my yoko advan Ao32r's.
They are such a puzzle to get hookes up. My best 60 with them is 2.20.
This is at 2300 ft, but I would like to be running 13's.
Anyone have these tires. I launch @ 6000, dump, hops a bit, then grabs around 6000 when it's good. I have them at 23...
Well I am a Base Auto and I ran a 14.2 at 101MPH in the 1/4 mile last night on stock tires and rims. I guess it is pretty good for stocks. I am hoping that when I put the slicks on I will be in the 13's. Do you think it is possible to break 13's or even low low 13's w/ slicks?
I think I posted this as a response to a question, but I guess I'll actually post it as a thread for those who didn't see my response.
basically a guy named "aRz" over at honda-tech currently has the fastest N/A K20a3 with a 1/4 mile run of 14.2 in florida with the temperature at about 60...
In case you haven't read the new C&D, the Hytech type s only ran a 14.2 @ 103. I really don't see a 300 horsepower type s only trapping 103 and not even breaking 13's. Can anyone explain or make up excuses or something?
