Just bought a Jackson supercharger for my son's '03 RSX-S, and considering "street tune" vs dyno tune with the Kpro. But...
1. the nearest tuner is 2 hours away
2. he is booked solid for two months
3. he charges $500 (did i mentioned he's not hurting for business)
4. although i've never done a...
Sorry for the quality of the pics. I dont have a scanner lol. The first one is when I only had a v2 sri a few years ago. Second dyno sheet is with the mods in my sig.

i currently have a short ram intake, megan race header, and a stock type s exhaust system.
Im wondering if anyone has a baseline for this?
Also for the o2 sensor, will kpro work problywithout the o2 from a 02 04. I have it in hand but just dont know where to install
yesterday i went to the dyno "dynoyet" to get a baseline run with my current mods....motor>k20a....internal upgrades> sleeved with darton sleeves, eagle rods, hone and bore to 87mm,11.7:1 wiseco pistons....boltons>AEM pulleys, injen cai with a very dirty filter and hondata IMG ...no ITR intake...
I got my stock 05 type s dynoyed today ,3 pulls,
on the 3rd pull was my best , 166hp and 120lbs torque to the wheels.. This is low yes?
From what I seen on here most pull around 175+ stock yes?
Im missing like around 15hp right?
So any mods I do will no increase my hp but basically...
i figured my dyno sheet would be a good addition to the archives for people who want to search for it later on... so here it is.
the car is bone stock in the baseline, just broken in with about 1100 miles. after about 3 or 4 runs, the injen was installed on the dyno and we did 3 runs about 2.5...
Run in 3rd gear. I was hoping for a little higher based on what has been said here, and the fact that STD is usually higher makes the numbers even less appealing. But these numbers sound about right taking the average loss on a dynojet.
On the bright side I found a shop with extensive K-series...
170 hp and 122 lb/ft torque. The guy told me that my numbers are normally where '02-'04's are at with a CAI and exhaust. I figure I'm happy with that. Pull was done in 4th at 2200 feet ASL. It was about 74 F.
I would absolutely love to post my dyno graphs and show ya'll how disgustingly...
Just got my 02 Dyno'd. The three runs were done in 3rd gear. From what I've seen, 4th is the ideal gear to run in. Had a hard time finding an 02 - 04 Baseline Dyno and was curious if my numbers were up to snuff.
In preparation to install a JRRH w/ hf cat, exhaust, and hondata on my 02 BASE, I went to Racetune in Hayward, CA and got my car dyno'ed...
Isn't the base 5-speed MT supposed to dyno stock at like, 125 or 130? I added a CAI... so I was expecting a little bit more than the 120!!! that i got...
05' Type-S Baseline Dyno Results - UPDATED
I got my baseline dyno today. We did it in 5th gear because it was the closest to 1:1 (i.e. 4th=1.147 vs. 5th=0.921). This was also done on a dynapack with the front wheels off which typically show slightly higher numbers than a dynojet. I have...
I decided to dyno my base RSX, because there was a local Honda dyno day. I have no performance mods. The weather outside was about 93-95 F w/75% humidity. The dyno charts look a lil' low to me, but is this close or average for stock base RSXs? Any (helpful) input will be appreciated...
