Hey I just got done wrapping my dash in suede, now my blinkers are only turning on every once in a while. They will make a really weird screeching sound but not every time. My hazards work but the blinkers don't? HELP

I have my dogs hooked up to my running lights. I want to have them blink with my turn signals, but want them to behave the way they would with my running lights as well. Is there a way to wire them?
