My dad painted the calipers on his 300zx and used q 2 part epoxy (G2) but most YouTube videos I see people using special brake caliper high heat spray. Does anybody know what the difference is and if theres downsides to either way of...
I was wondering if anyone is running the rsx itr rear calipers on their oem type-s hubs? I just got rid of my itr rear setup but left the calipers on which bolted on fine for the time being.

My car needs new brakes so I'm changing out the rotors, pads, and want to get new calipers.
Rotors Im thinking of just buying cheap ones from my local store since I've read that they're going wear out the same as almost other expensive rotors since I want to put some more aggressive pads.
I bought new painted calipers a while back and forgot to send the cores back so here they are. The calipers worked fine when I took them off but I am selling them as cores or for parts.
Buyer pays shipping, paypal fees and $50 obo for both calipers and brackets.
For sale are my DC5 Type R rear Nissin brake calipers.
These are in really good shape! These calipers are from a DC5 Type R. They obviously differ from the USDM RSX in the fact the body of the caliper is made of aluminum. These are made by OE supplier Nissin.
The sale includes...
For sale are my DC5 Type R front Brembo Calipers.
These include used Brembo pads, spring pads, pins, and Brembo calipers. The OEM brake hose is attached to the banjo bolts. Bleeder screws are intact.
The calipers are in good shape and the pistons and seals are intact.
So today I attempted to change my rear brake pads because it was squealing. I took off both 12mm bolts holding the caliper to the brake pads and the caliper was hard af to remove. It wouldn't even budge one bit, can anyone help? Before I take this to the shop for them to break it loose.
For Acura Type-S.
I'll be powdercoating calipers, and I've removed the piston and rubber seals, but do I need to remove this shaft which is used for parking brake, or can it remain inside with the rest of the cylinder components? I noticed there's grease inside, and appears to be press-fitted?
So continuing with my "New" RSX... im upto my extremely extremely rusted brakes
rotors are so rusted they are actually chipping away
the car was in a garage just sitting there for a year straight and wasnt driven. It was also in a very snowy area (Vermont) which caused further corrosion.
