alright so sometimes when my car is idling i can hear a faint sound that is similar to rain drops hitting a window or windshield, just not as audible. is this detonation? the speed of it parallels my rpms which is what worrys me. and if so what do i do about it? i know its not a good thing lol...

I've seen sooo many turbo set-ups blowing up engines and ruin so many peoples hard work. I haven't seen on here anyone with a jrsc have any problems (from the few weeks I've been researching on here). Has anyone lost an engine due to these? They seem like a way safer route for me to go.

Is there any amount of detonation that is "ok?" I'm still getting a little between 3500 and 5000 rpms and i can't seem to get rid of it no matter how much i lower the timing. I guess i need to start adding fuel. Any opinions.....
