New to club rsx, I have 05 type s. Installed some led bulbs (9005 for high beam, also in Canada we have daytime running lights), I also Installed a resistor as well. The led bulbs are running at 25W, DRL lights don't work, but the high beams do. Has anyone has this type of issue before...
1) My DRL bulb has died.
Could you please, tell me of what size is the DRL bulb in 2005 RSX?
It's not the high beam bulb, I checked. Apart from the high beam bulb, there is another bulb mounted above the high beam bulb (the one which is DRL bulb).
Together with the size...
My DRL would sometimes work sometimes be off. Recently fixed it by resolder the cracks, but my DRL light is still on for the dash. My DRL works now though after that process so im wondering is there a fuse for the light on the dash? What else could be a possibility?
Just a quick question.
My driver side low beam keeps going out quicker than my passenger side.
Could it be the Rubber Seal Ring going out and water condensation getting into the headlight?
I've taken mental notes and the driver side usually goes out after 6 month or so with new...
I've searched and browsed a bit and there does not seem to be an earlier post that matches my problem.
The car is a 2002 Canadian RSX. I believe these stock cars have no fog lights so the low-beam lights are used as the DRLs. Please correct me if I am wrong about that.
After-market HIDs were...
I had a mechanic install two of these HID kits
Two kits covers all 4 headlights. The headlights and highbeams work. The strange thing is that the DRL's (daytime running lights) do not work, even though it's the same bulb as the highbeams.
Hey everyone, I'm choosing which bulb should I put on my DRL headlights? I already have 6k HID "low beams" now I want to change my DRL "low/high beams"
Either a 2500k or a white led?
Suggestions will be helpful as well.
Odd issue I have here, I hope its just the bulbs, but I know there's a DRL problem
1. DRL's are not working (The DRL light on the dash stays on)
2. both Low Beams are out (HIDs) I've had them for 6 years
3. High Beams: When I turn it on, only 1 (Driver side) light turns on.
Let me start off by saying this probably isn't the safest way of doing things, but this is the way I did it because I found it pretty simple.
Disconnect your battery when working with electrical wiring.
Check your fuses when your done if you have any problems.
1. Take the pigtails from the LED...

i know this has been covered by Steve Type-S with his DIY..
i saw this kit on ijdmtoy and looks ok and cheap.. :D instead of doing the "right/correct/best/safer/expensive" way.. :D...
A few weeks ago, one of the high beams would sometimes work, and sometimes not work. Then it just stopped working all together. Now the Daytime Running Lights are sometimes working, sometimes not working. Currently not working at all.. The same bulb houses both the DRL and the High Beams.
so ive been searching but i couldnt find n e thing on this topic... i recently purchased retrofit headlights off a member on this forum that are equipt with bi-xenon hid's. Before i swapped out my headlights, the highbeams used to be the DRL...but after doing the swap, i no longer have my DRL...
On Canadian RSX's, our Daytime Running Lights are in the high beam. They basically turn on as soon as you turn on the ignition and run the high beams on low power to give us DRL's.
Wouldn't this be a problem if upgrading to Bixenons? I'm assuming the DRL's would trigger the High Beam's on the...
I saw thread regarding DRL other sections but some of the US peeps dont know about it because their cars dont have it so I am posting it here for efficency. If its not allowed then delete/lock it and let me know
Anyways i installed HIDs on low beam recently and noticed my DRL (and the light on...
Lost my DRL's and heated seats at the same time.
I installed foglights, then the next day was testing for power in my fusebox, to try and wire up the foglights. The way I did this was taking a coated wire, one end in the fuse slot, other on a ground, looking for spark. Didn't have a meter...
