I installed Vibratechnics motor mounts and initially they they were great. No wheelhop when I dropped the clutch at 3k. 6 months later I go to the track and the car hops like they are on stock mounts.
Did the mounts fail prematurely or is it possible that a bolt come loose?
HELP: Sometimes car "judders" or has a slight wheel hop when accelerating from a stop
Its the same feeling you get if you accidently leave the hand brake up and try to take off from a stop, but not as bad. Its like a mild wheel hop. I checked all the brakes and none of them are sticking, pads...

I noticed right after I got it that I felt what seemed like wheel hop when going up my driveway.. It's somewhat steep so the motor is under a load.
I figured it was the motor mounts getting worn out, and at the time there wasn't a front motor mount...
Went to the track today and had quite a bit of wheel hop. Anyone have any suggestions on how to eliminate this? First year having Rsx so I'm still kinda new with this. I know with civics u can get drag/traction bars but will the Rsx have some similar to?

I've noticed when taking off under hard power I notice alot of wheel hop, Now i will state my passenger side motor mount is broken and I plan to replace it before anything else. Is it my driving and take off technique or is there a part i can buy to help reduce it beside a full suspension setup?
I've searched and searched. I think my answer lies out there somewhere but I need an easier solution.
Heres the issue.
I have an 02 type s with a K24a2 swap. Mod list is in my build thread. Too lazy to post a link you can easily find it by searching "kay two fo build".
For over 2 months I...
I have the full 4 piece innovative motor mount kit(60a) installed on my 02 type s and I still get wheel hop. From what I have read people say it gets rid of the wheel hop, but it didn't fix it in my car :(
I tightened all the bolts to manufacture specifications so I am not sure what the issue...
I've been here last night doing searches and all looking for the right answer, but just couldn't find them.
I'm on the fence whether or not to purchase an Ingalls "stiffy" Torque damper, or just purchase the Innovative 60A motor mounts.
I want to know what people think of the Ingalls Torque...
I have 60a rear and side MM and a 75a front MM. When i drive (mainly in 1st,2nd and reverse) It will jump or feel like it is wheel hoping but it happens when i drive normal. It is making me think that I could possibly have a bad rear mount? I was planning on swapping it out with my stock...

So, my car ran great before my K20A2 blew. I had ESMM in there at the time.
Well, I fixed the car by dropping in a K24A2/K20A2 frank. Car had a lot more power but something was wrong.
When I'd press on the gas moderately in first or second, I heard a whack or bang. Thought it was my sway...
Yes, this is another wheel hop thread. But one solution (ESMM) isn't working for me anymore so I'd like to explore other solutions.
Okay, for awhile, the ESMM had eliminated my wheel hop. At that time I had Tein SS and a stock K20. I forgot what tires.
Now, I've got a K24 (with K20A2 head)...
