Has anyone had any luck in TTC? if so how did you use your points. I am looking to begin road racing in the next few years and would like to use TT as an entry way. Has anyone has any success in this class?
With the new 2009 rules, the NA cars get a nice little points deduction for the engine management compared to the FI vehicles...
From my interpretation of the rules, K-pro would now fall under a No points modification, correct? It is technically a reprogrammed OEM ECU that uses the OEM ECU...
If you're on a tight budget, or have the free time but the car is not ready, come take advantage of the volunteer program offered by NASA Midwest and Great Lakes regions. They need people in all areas like registration, timing & scoring, tech, grid, etc. etc. No experience required, but you do...

Midwest Region (from NE to MI): http://www.nasamidwest.com/
Great Lakes Region (from IN to OH): http://www.nasagreatlakes.com/
NASA Midwest and Great Lakes (formerly OH/IN) regions have already started their 2008 season. Last year I went to 6 of their events and all of them were nothing short...
Just an FYI...If you run NASA you can run SCCA now also
SCCA Board Approves NASA Licenses For Club Racing
TOPEKA, Kan. (May 9, 2008) – Sports Car Club of America’s Board of Directors approved today at its face-to-face meeting in Topeka the approval of National Auto Sport Association...
So I attended my first HPDE for the season today at Pocono (East Course) and just my luck fog so thick you couldn't see more than a few feet in front of you. Luckily it cleared up a bit in the afternoon so we got 3 heats in (were supposed to get 4). Despite the damp and cold conditions, it was a...
What a perfect day it was today to do a HPDE. Temperatures were in the mid 70s, sunny, absolutely gorgeous. I attended the NASA HPDE at Pocono Raceway north course with Lo-Buck (Spencer) as my instructor. While Pocono north isn't exactly a challenging course, it's a great course for beginners...
Awhile back I had put together a compilation of different fastest laps in my RSX at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Michigan. I've often used this track as a benchmark both for me as a driver and for the car's setup as well. It's a good short, technical track that can offer a few decent...

Thanks has to be extended to my buddy Wai with the Honda Challenge Spoon DC2R for the pics! I simply stole them off of his Honda-Tech posts. Without saying, big thanks to Wai for the pics, PIC for the hospitality and food, Charlie from Top Setup for showing me the line around a new track for...
I know this is probably old news to you NASA guys in the Northeast... aka.. me.. but PDA (performance drivers association) has now taken over this chapter of NASA. What does this mean? NASA will still be around of course but now more races, HPDE dates, and licensing in the northeast!! :D w00t...
Just wondering what the differences are and what everyone's general opinions are. 2 questions too:
1) Is there a SCCA equivilant to NASA HPDE's? It's real easy to find on the NASA web site, but not the SCCA one.
2) Is there an equivilent to Solo II (Autocross) in NASA?
Thanks.
Here are some pics that i stole from the honda-tech thread, since i was lazy to post my own pics for now, I have about 50 pics myself..
