hey, i just got a new paint job for one of my cars, the 1927 Chevy Capitol AA, and i thought i'd show it off haha old colour...

I got this scratch about a year ago, and my dad tried to buff it out using Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound. Reverse effect: it clouded the paint around the scratch, so it looks slightly grayer in that area than the Nighthawk Black Pearl color of my car. I think his mistake was not waxing it right...

How much do you guys think it would cost to get my hood and bumper cover sanded/painted? Would it be worth it to sand it myself or not? I finally found a seller for a '97 front bumper cover/hood/grille molding but its in black and i need white.
