dang I just fucked up my passenger side aspec sideskirt strafe (that black rubber thing towards the rear of the sideskirt) What is this thing for anyway and should I get it replaced? I took it off the sideskirt.

well i guess with the high rise in gas and all these articles floating around about octane not really mattering and ecu's being smart enough to detect it, i went ahead and filled 3/4 of my tank up with 89 octane. never did this before. its always been 93 or 94. figured im not pushing my car...

It's a hard surface...could be used for a cupholder but no. I don't see any use of it. why didnt they just make it a soft surface and add another seatbelt so a small child or somethin could sit in the back. But on a positive note, it's good for if friends are trying to catch rides to a party...
