Looking for opinions on the best budget shifter box / short shifter to reduce slop. Stock 6 spd is rubbery and sloppy.

I am selling my Volk CE28n Mercury Silver color (no tires).
The size is 19x8 +48.
Since I am the second owner, there are some damage from the curve on both passenger side. Nothing to bad.
Also the front left wheel have a little bit bending (can't tell that it is bending).
I generally drive <3k rpm, and am shooting for good mileage (right now averaging 31 per tank). I wouldn't mind a header, but want to make sure it doesn't negatively impact either the mileage or the low-end torque. If it's positive, that'd be awesome, and I'll jump on it.
