I know the 5zigen airscoop was designed for the 02-04 rsx bumper. Anybody know if the back side of the 02-05 type s bumper is similar to the 05 -s? Im asking because a member here is selling the scoop and i am soon getting a mugen airbox. Just wanted to know if its possible to fit the scoop on...

Sounds like a good idea right? Anyone have any suggestions? Or warnings? Or if this always exists I won't bother going into fabrication mode.

Fitted the 5zigen scoop onto my Mugen Airbox yesterday, took a while to figure it all out as the instructions it came with are useless. Has it made a difference, most definitely yes, the car is pulling so much smoother. I was shocked what a difference a small mod like this makes.

I may be imagining things, but I thought I saw someone write about a carbon fiber hood with a functional hood scoop that hooked up to a CAI. Can anybody tell me who makes a set-up like this, how much it costs, and what they think of the performance, fitment, and looks? I'm thinking about this...

I like the looks of a scoop...... like the WRX has. It just makes the car look bad ass. Are there any kits or suppliers that you know of? I did a search, but didn't turn up anything. It would be cool too if the scoop were functional. Maybe route the cold air into a SRI ? :cool:
