Long short story
Replaced my passenger axle with a crappy oriellys version. Started shaking weeks after. Tried taking it out but the inner side must have been stuck into the half shaft ring
I’ve brought this problem to a local import shop and they couldn’t get it removed. They tried all this...
My daughters boyfriend was looking under my daughters car to look at CV axles. He found the passenger side CV boot torn. So need to replace the axle. How common is it for the half shaft to need to be replaced? Any recommendations where to get CV axles. Also found a bar, attached pictures...
does anybody know the average price of a Used 4.7 FD gear and shaft. It has been out of the tranny since Nov of last year. Mileage at exactly 195,441 miles on it. Pics to follow by the end of the day.
PS: off of 2006 Type S
Anyone running this axle?
My setup will be 500-600hp range, turbo K24A running on 5-speed base transmission.
This looks like utilizing the stock hub and rated at 1000hp and almost half the price of the similar from DSS 1000hp package.
Also, what LSD do those SFWD guys running?
* In my searches for help on my own job, it looks like the work is the same no matter which model of RSX you have, but just in case: I'm working with an automatic.

I've dealing with a little clunk when shifting from neutral to Reverse. Other directions are fine. I'm not really sure that the left (driver side axle) are costing it. Besides that, car is driving fine no noise or clunk while driving or turning.
My motor mounts are still new and good...
