...which is better to mitigate the car's wear-and-tear?
1) just keep foot on brake; or
2) put in neutral and use handbrake?
For M/T, I suppose that 2) is the better choice generally speaking. How about for A/T?
This happened a few years back and believe it or not I only actually got to the bottom of it recently. This is mostly due to the shitty dealership I took it too initially who couldn't find the problem, and instead blamed me for it :firemad: I posted a thread about this at the time it happened...
