When you paint the reflector the purple shows way more. I did this years ago and had the same results.damn thats nice, so thats the regular ion fog lenses? looks more purple than usual thats what im looking for
you mean the inside bowl? cuz i was thinking of doing that too but i kinda dont want to go thru the hassle of using a heat oven to remove & re installing the lensesWhen you paint the reflector the purple shows way more. I did this years ago and had the same results.
You need ion fogs first of all. And yes the inside when painted makes the purple show a lot more. The fogs aren't baked open either, they are not sealed with a heat-sensitive glue. They're sealed with silicone, heat won't do anything.you mean the inside bowl? cuz i was thinking of doing that too but i kinda dont want to go thru the hassle of using a heat oven to remove & re installing the lensesbut as you see in my show off thread i just used a light purple tint film
I might spray the inside silver to get the crystal ion look back. When you paint the reflector the purple shows way more. I did this years ago and had the same results.
Yeah it will get the lighter hue to come out in the lens. When it's blacked out, the purple is brought out a lot.I might spray the inside silver to get the crystal ion look back.
Thanks. They are a bit of work but I enjoy making these. I'm just glad that people like them but need to start buying them. Ima try posting on different Honda forums. You need ion fogs first of all. Fog retros are a PITA which is why I don't do them anymore. I created like 4-5 sets but props to TS for doing it. It's not an easy job and is very time consuming lol.
Yeah you should, a lot of Hondas share the same housings.Thanks. They are a bit of work but I enjoy making these. I'm just glad that people like them but need to start buying them. Ima try posting on different Honda forums.

How'd you get Ford Fusion fogs into the Rsx housings? I have a set of fusion fogs but haven't tried retroeing them in yet.Yeah it will get the lighter hue to come out in the lens. When it's blacked out, the purple is brought out a lot.
I think the purple looks better, it's more unique for sure :mam:

A lot of cutting. It aint ez.How'd you get Ford Fusion fogs into the Rsx housings? I have a set of fusion fogs but haven't tried retroeing them in yet.
I have the older generation fusion fogs that are bulkier ones. Prolly won't be able to fit them in and keep the factory adjustment unless I custom fab a new mounting system. I need to get my hands on a new set of fusion fogs.A lot of cutting. It aint ez.
The ones I used looked like this. And I had to do something similar for the adjustment brackets as well.I have the older generation fusion fogs that are bulkier ones.
