I hear you. I've been to prison and I'd do it again...I learned to do the time and not let the time do me. I'll tell ya the red dirt in OK does not come out easyyy. LOL Money is never "lost" it simply changes hands. Don't lose site of what matters. Right now I'm concentrating on my girlfriend and our dog and eating well. I'm burning through savings. I can tell you that money comes and goes. You just have to watch as to how you make it. EASY come--EASY go. I've brushed death a couple times, why I'm still here I do not know? I can tell you if you find a good women and listen to her you will be better off? They think different than we do and in way's they are smarter. If going over your car and making an honest living keeps you out of trouble, I say go with that.

They are a man and a women, staring at each other-being still. Point is? Find the right women put her in front of you and you will be fine. Never take that for granted. I did once and I lost my wife (14 years) Now I've been with the same women for six. I got a second chance.

My life at all. I literally live at work. I only go to get groceries once a week. And my friend circle is super small. Don’t drink or any of that stuff anymore. I had a pretty rocky time in my late teens most of my twenties. I learned to not make the same mistake twice. And take everything how it is. Kinda made me a realist so people don’t like hearing ol negative Nancy all day lmao but i also have a problem with not lying. So that probably hurts with women. They do not want to hear the truth about anything. I tell them up front i am blunt and i will be 100% honest always. ( never fails i become a dick head ass hole every time lol) so in my eyes the cars are my girls. They don’t fight, argue, cheat, leave me high and dry ( unless it breaks down on the highway lol) but I’ve been that way since i got my license. Cars has always been what keeps me out of trouble. I may spend all my extra money on them but hey? U can’t take shit with you when u leave this world so imma live my life the way i want and have dope ass cars lol

I had to think about this for a minute...I don't have any regrets. I'll do it again. In fact I do. Part of this website to me is learning what others have done, what works and what doesn't. I love my cars. It's like you said. They don't talk back, they simply give back what you put into them? I sold drugs, I got caught, I did some time. You can't break the law on a regular basis and get away with it forever. Eventually they will catch you. I did a lot of dumb shit in my 20's also. I forgot first of all that what I was doing was illegal! It became so natural, I devised many way's to get away and thought I was slick? Heres one: "the abandon car trick"! I'd put 50lbs of weed in a 50$ car then park it "somewhere"...It's a lot easier to hand somebody some keys and mouth an address than throw a haybale at them. The car would not be titled and what do I care when it get's towed? It was all so much fun?
Don't give up on women. The right one can MAKE you. The WRONG one can break you. You will learn and she might come along? I don't mean to sound condescending, Your obviously wise grasshopper! Just keep your eye's open for the right women and you will find life to be "better". I've found a cool ride get's better women! LMFAO They can be so shallow sometimes! lol We are older now, and all I know is prison builds character. I think everybody should do a day in jail, then they can tell me about it. Honesty is key. I admire and respect that very much. Sometimes being too nice can bite you. But in the end it's the policy? What are you gonna do...call the cops!. LOL. Stay safe my Man. The cops are now in my back pocket as much as I'm fuc'ing them!

I'm actually local to you lol I've been keeping up with the build on insta.. Car is clean. I'm hoping to pull my engine in the next 3 months or so and get the car ready for a fully built k20/k24 for boost. I'm about to send my 24 block off to CSS so the ball is starting to roll.
We'll have cruise sometime!

Where u from?? I don’t know anyone local with RSX anymore except people that’s been buying parts from me. Lol im probably going to do the same pretty soon when business picks back up. Or may just get another k20 swap to build that and tranny for the big boy setup I’m going for later. I’m trying to break that 1k hp barrier lol doesn’t help one of the homies has a EK running stupid power. Lol

5 A/R twin scroll design but it doesnt have the split so. idk 58mm wheel, 76mm turbine wheel.. said 350-55
Im going to start with my parts list. Built the kit by myself, i cant own a non turbo rsx lol here we go
Turbo kit
1320 performance 44mm t3 sidewinder
1320 vband downpipe
1320 vband 44mm wg dump
Tial MVR 44mm siilver gate
Hks SSQV4 bov
vibrant oil feed and return lines with their turbo fittings
i bought a ebay intercooler piping kit 3" welding it all together after i can get everything situated
CX Racing FMIC ( we will see how this holds up.. had good reviews but when im ready to go fast this will change along with turbo)
REV9 60-62 journal bearing turbo (i had to try one at least. youtube is making ebay shit sound like the lotto) .65 A/R twin scroll design but it doesnt have the split so. idk 58mm wheel, 76mm turbine wheel.. said 350-550hp so i figured it would be alright to try. lol if i blow it up it was only $300 then i can get what i really want

i think thats about it that has to do with the turbo kit. I do know i am for SURE making a DIY on everything since i have never in my life seen one or a video. im doing both lol so many posts thats words, no hose sizes no explanations on how to run lines and what not. i am doing it as simple and cheap as possible


now. the only question i have right now is if anyone has put a sidewinder on, how and what size heater hoses did you use? i think im going to try and tuck these but we will have to see when i get there. i did measure the hard pipe and heater core nipples and the one on the firewall was all around 3/4" but i want to see how people have done theirs. and also the rear one from the head to the body.

and also what have you guys done with the PS line? mine is literally laying on the damn manifold lol'

and yes the whole mani, turbo, wg dump, and down pipe are going to be covered in as much heat wrap as i can cover with it being super tight.


what type of heat shielding did you guys use on all the wiring and hoses and practically everything on the firewall?

im going to post pics as i progress. i only worked on it last saturday and was already pissed at it for being right in the way of everything. lol

theres a pic of day 1 to day 40 of the rebuild. the entire car has been rebuilt by me other than the motor and trans. its a very strong motor. trans will inevitably pop lol ill add more pics on my phone.

lets here some builds and see some pics! and ways you ran everything

Lol i start building this and my homies start getting back into it after it’s almost done. Lol called me a few weeks ago saying they are bringing it back. I was like dudes what y’all think i did this build for? lol

very good project! Hats off, respect !. Is there a photograph of the surface of the piston? from the end, a porn skirt and oil channels are visible as is the fact that the piston skirt is in malikolute. the top of the piston is interesting. and what compression ratio if not secret?
motor hasn’t been separated yet. Just tested compression tests was super high. Cold motor each cylinder was about 185-190

I probably understood something wrong ... 18.5-19 bar compression in the cylinder? compression ratio at the same time 12+? how will it work on a turbo engine?

Its the stock compression. i believe 11.0:1
it works just fine. on k's not many people bust down and build the whole motor around boost. later i will build the motor if it ever blows. but 500-600hp on the stock compression is very reliable depending on the tune. transmission is the only thing to worry about on these cars. my last k20(a2) made 400 on a gt30 10000% stock everything except the fuel system and the clutch, for 4.5 yrs of daily driving it beating the shit out of it all the time. (160k+ miles) never ever gave a problem lol i dont really believe in low compression unless your going for 1000+ which my next step will be that direction.

hell yeah lol im happy everybody is getting back into the game tho. it was hella fun back in the day. then it kinda died out, but it looks like everybody is bringing it back. im ready to start going back out and cruising and racing again.

its a Z1, one of my buddies is going to tune it for me. hes got a 1300 hp k swap coupe lol i cant wait. 4 1/2 months later and boom its ready to be tuned. lol going e85 as well. cant wait!

haha damn that was very technical. im running e85 in mine so 105 octane corn syrup lol right now its .92 cents a gallon here

i kept everything. Cannot be in Oklahoma without ac. Lol boost the k20. K24/20 is a waste of money to make a little more tq. Power is so easy. It’s wheel spin and going straight that’s hard to figure out lol
