I'm debating whether to go 17x9 +22 w/ a 215/45 tire and slam or to go 17x9.5 +22 and same tire?? I already rolled fenders and did some frame work to prevent rubbing... I've searched the forums and haven't seen too many pics of the x9.5 +22 so not sure.. Share some insight w/ pics pleeze

run a 215/45 on a 17x9 bro. it'll be better than the 17x9.5 fitment wise and less poke so it will sit perfect. and forget all the other moronic non-helping posts

friends tell friends how their fitment will be best. and a 215 stretch really isn't anything bad. once you drop below that your getting lots of stretch though

17x9 with 215/45 would be a good size to go with depending on what look your going for, just don't expect to get good handling out of it. But i wouldn't use the same size tire if you go with 17x9.5. Maybe think about 225/40 or 225/45. Im running 225/40's on my 9.5's and it gives a little bit of stretch but not too much. To each his own though...

Stretching tires on a big rim seems somewhat counter productive :dontknow:. Just get 17x7 or something along those lines and stretch tires over them.

I would suggest going to a 40 tall tire if u wanna go low and hellaflush. everyone who has including me that has the suspension to lower it never regrets it. Unless you dont wanna go low. 215 will be perfect on a 9 wide.
