2nd Gear problem at high rev

Is this when you just turn on the car? Also, do you slam the hell out of it when you are spirit driving?

This problem happens every time I let the rev go beyond 7K... I seldom go hard on the car like once every 2 month for 5 min.

i had the same problem on my 02 type S about a week ago and now my second is messed up and grinds while normal driving. so im fucked

now what? do you have to replace the 2nd gear? I'm planning to sell the car I the next month...

yea. im getting the whole second gear replaced

i have this problem too and today i wnet to the dealeship with it but they said that if its not happening all the time they cant fix it !

tell the dealer to go fuck themselves. and they will never ever fix your tranny..

try changing your tranny fluid. i have a similar problem with 2 and 4, but it still goes in.

Amsoil MTF and energy suspension motor mount inserts. this fixed all my tranny problems.

Dealer will cost you an arm and leg to have it fixed....try to buy an extended warranty for your car....and get it fixed under the warranty..... its cheaper that way...

I kinda have the same problem. But its only when I try to shift fast. Mine is still under warranty. They told me to bring it in and try to recreate it for them so they can tell whats going on. haha Ill keep ya posted.

Are you for real? That really helped?

you could try adjusting your clutch pedal and getting some better tranny fluid. Once I adjusted mine and swapping in amsoil after a cmc install shifts into 2nd are pretty quick at wot.
