A 30K consists of oil and filter change, rotation, air filter change, unless recently done, and the cabin filters changed (air conditioning filters).

At least, that's what'd we'd do if you brought it in to the dealership.

At toyota our 30k service includes; oil change, air filter change, balance and rotate the tires, pcv valve, transmission change, coolant change, and a throttle clean, not sure if acura's different. I know our colant is long life so should be fine to atleast 60k along with your trans fluid...

Depends on how hard you drive your car. I've been changing my tranny fluid every oil change, I mean shiet it's an extra $10. It's been coming out clean everytime though so I might extend it to like every other oil change or every third one.

Cheap insurance.

rarely drive it rough, but might aswell do it, while i get my radiator flushed.. had to fill it with crap aftermarket stuff when it was running low.

On the tranny flush, can you or should you switch to a synth. tranny fluid? I have synth. fluids in all my other fluids, I was just thinking that it mine help a little.
all depends on ur driving style or if you have knotchiness or grinding issues. if you track or drive hard often or have tranny issues, switching to Amsoil/penzoil syncromesh would be best considering everyone else here on the forums having good results with other than honda brand MTF. IMO, my rsx is my DD and i have no problem with grinding or knotchiness so im just sticking with honda MTF.

hey if im still under warranty, is the 30k maintenance free?

Are you asking if the service is free?

Well its not....you would have to pay.

And on a side note, its basically and oil change and tire rotation...

However every dealer is different so...

What kind of lubricants should I use for the door hinges and latches?
How do you inspect the brakes, tie rods, and other stuff needed...?
I don't have to change the tranny fluid at 30K, right?
Should I flush the radiator or just fill it back up?
Thanks in advance!

TriFlow is great.

Or a lithium grease. It's white.

You're just looking for leaks and such while inspecting tie rods and brakes.

No tranny flush at 30k. Only tire rotation, oil change and air filters. Both engine and cabin.
