Hey everyone, I searched around to see if someone had the same question as me but I couldn't find any. So just bought some 35w ballasts for my fog lights, but I don't know the wattage for the lights that the previous owner had installed. Is there any way to find out what the wattage for the bulbs are? They don't say anything other than "H11". Also, I wanted the hyper yellow color but they don't sell any in 35w H11. Could I use 55w bulbs with 35w ballasts? Thanks in advance

Cheaper HID kits don't have 55w/35w bulb options, it's probably a 35w. Yes, you can run a 55w bulb on a 35w ballast, or vice versa.

35w bulb boosted to 55w will colorshift down about 1000K, and also wear down faster. Probably should just stick to 35w for fogs, it's not like they produce any really useful drive lighting, fogs are more for foreground lighting.

You need a retrofit if you want to actually see much better.
