Planning on ordering peakboost gt 30r kit.. I have rbc, 880cc injecters, k pro and 3' cat back.. i know i need to bring my compression down.. But i have a few questions to be answered tho.. ( only planning on running 16 psi at hi)

1) What rods should i order for only about 450 hp?

2) Will i need an fuel return line for this set up?

3) And is there anything else that might be need to run this set up??

it will take more than 16psi to reach 450whp with a gt30 with low compression

eagle rods can handle that power goal, but if you ever look to do more power i would go with Brian Crower pro-series rods or Manley turbo tuff rods:

no that power can be possible, it might be harder to reach on pump, but def possible on E85. A RBC would definately help reach that goal on pump.

thanks... besides a fuel rail and injecters.. what other fuel upgrades would have to be made??

well beyond 400whp you should really do a walbro, new feed line, and return with a FPR...other than that you should be golden

hmmm idk, i am going to find out next weekend when i get on a dyno, im going to be at 20psi aiming for 450whp with 9:1 compression

cometic headgasket (get oem headgasket though)
ARP headstuds
Type R cams

sounds like I have a similar setup to you as well except I am on a stock motor. I am only partially tuned running 400whp & 280ft/lbs @15psi with my peakboost kit, gt3076, complete fuel system, cc stage 4 clutch, 3" exhaust, innovative motor mounts, gm 3bar map sensor, gm boost control solenoid but I will be swapping out for the hondata solenoid soon though (the GM solenoid is normally open, the one from hondata is normally closed). The thing about a solenoid being open is if the solenoid goes bad you can't bring down your boost. If it was normally closed then you would basically run off the wastegate if the solenoid goes bad.

damm that sucks... 400whp is great.. so if i m running a lowwer compression then you.. i could run maybe 18- 20 psi... one other thing ARCHULL... what rpm range does your turbo start to spool??

im going to be running 20psi daily after my dyno tune, right now im at 18psi and it hasn't knocked yet so 18-20 is safe for low compression.

the gt30 starts to really take off at about 4500 rpm :vtec: and the sound of a ball bearing turbo spooling is sick :giggity:

shit, mine is spooling hard before that, lol. Around 3500 at wot she is starting to spool pretty good, by 5500 my tires are breaking loose in 3rd, lol

I made 440hp with my setup on pump gas and stock block. But its all in the tune , this is at about 15-17psi. :)
My turbo setup
Peakboost Gt35R . 82 turbo kit -
downpipe , dumptube , manifold heat coated in black , polished compressor and anodized intercooler
CC stage 5 clutch w/ resurfaced stock flywheel

o i thought he meant when is it fully spooled. ur breaking loose in 3rd? in 3rd gear my tires stay planted, 5 speed FTW :D

yeah I do , I will get a 5 speed but I am out of funds atm. I want to get a EP3 5 speed , PPG gears , cc twin disk , etc etc . I am happy with my power
