Well, we got a few STS RSXs from the SF Bay Area to head out to Atwater for the SCCA ProSolo this past weekend.

http://www.scca.org/amateur/solo2/prosolo/2002/atwater/results.html#Othe

We managed to edge out the Celicas, but got our butts whooped by a 2.5RS, Audi TT, and even an Escort! Some really good drivers with some really well setup cars (Which you expect from a SCCA National Solo event)....

Anyways, given that we did pretty well, in cars that are not quite tuned out yet, with drivers who are all relatively new to AutoX, I think this car has a great deal of potential.

Here are some pics:

Nice job Shaun! Its good to see some RSX's doing battle at the National level. I've been dissappointed as of late not ever seeing GS-R's in the National results. I think that car, as well as the RSX, has alot of potential. Keep up the great work!!

Glad to hear you liked the Schroth harness belt!

PS - can I use some of these pics on the RSX page I'm doing at SoloRacer.com?

Actually, we all had no chance even WITH the Falkens..... I was on 15s, and the RSX guys were on 16s or 17s, I think.

I came in 11th in my Celica. Were were all outclassed by the big guns from down south.

Maybe next year....

I'm not sure who wasn't on Falkens: Kalman, Avard, Charlie, and the Audi were all on Falkens, and all the Celicas and RSXs were on Falkens, too.... I think that covers everyone....

i Vtec247 What size tires are you running on your 16 rims they look they look like the have a lower profile than stock.
I can answer that since I run the same tires. The tires are lower profile, they are 215 45 16. 215 on the falkens is like putting on 225 with other tires so I wouldn't go any woder with the stock rims. The 55 series only come in 205 but we wanted something a bit wider so we went with the 215. And those only come in 45 series but they do give better gearing.

Which guy in the Celica? There were 2 of us with Spec Blue Celicas, and we were BOTH pretty wild.

Of course, that's because Eb's ALWAYS wild, and I was having a TERRIBLE weekend...

Anyone who is an SCCA member. They cost $55 each, with 12 runs over 2 days.

If you run more than one PROSolo event in one year, you have to buy an additional PROSolo license for another $50, but it's not required for the FIRST PRO event you go to in year.

You do have to preregister, though. And there are penalties if you register at the last minute. And there are event size limits, so if you register late, you may not get in at all.
