I know a lot of you all don't like the idea of having the middle rear as a seat and that it is unsafe, but I was still wondering: is it possible to convert that into a 5th seat, complete with 3-point seat belts? Thanks for your replies.

I don't think it would work since there is no place to mount the retractor for the shoulder harness part of the seatbelt.

I was thinking that maybe it could, although awkward, be put into the seat. I don't know if this could be possible but it seems like a logical way of working.

Well, i read that putting that thingamajigger there would make the RSX a 2+2, which would lower insurance costs or some crapo like that. Also plastic is cheaper than seat material. But besides that, wouldn't it be nice to carry an extra friend or family member (like 5 ppl families.. mine..)?

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think the Integra Type R (DC5) has a rear seat without that annoying plastic thing. But it's prolly hella expensive

$3300 isn't that bad....my insurence company wanted $8700 a year for my type S under my name. im only 18 and i have 2 accidents and a ticket for 88 in a 55 so i knew my insurence would be nuts so thats y even though im paying for my type S the car is under my moms name and im insured under her car....they charge her like 2200 a year.

Dear god, I was only $3200 for a Type-S and I'm 16~

Then again, I'm a very careful driver and only speed 5mph over the limit on the interstate.
