Only at operating temperature. They are the same viscosity at start up.

Way too thick especially for your climate in Canada. You should be using a 5W. I'm in the Houston, TX area and use the recommended 5W-20 (Motorcraft synthetic blend).

i used 5w-20 for my base, thinking about switching to 0w-20, heard its better.

where are you finding 0w-20 or for that matter 0w-30? I have searched in autozone, advance auto, and pepboys. I figure i will have to order it.

There is 5w-20... just go to Walmart and you'll see it. 0w-20 is something I haven't seen on their shelves :dontknow:

We don't have either of those in Hawaii sorry I know there are 0w-20 mixes, just haven't seen any from Mobil at the Walmart branches on the island.

M1 does make 5w-20 it's just hard to find usually. Luckily there are several places around here that carry it so that's what I use.

Just stick with 5w-20. In the acura service manual it says to not use 5w-30 unless you cannot get a hold of 5w-20.
