Wassup crsx! I just want to know which route would be better for me to go if i had to choose between a 63mm or 65mm exhaust.. I plan on doing a basic setup with I/RH/E and kpro down the line and possibly throw in a RBC as well. Any help & opinions greatly appreciated!

2mm isn't gonna make a difference in anything IMO. 2mm is like less than 1/10 of an inch.
ohh really.. hmmn. i was thinking of either getting the 65mm comptech or 63mm t1r.. I already have bcrh and injen cai..

:edit:
reason why i ask is because i know the bcrh is about 65mm at the end i was thinking if i mate it with another 65 it would help up high end but i read the bigger the id on the exhaust you lose torque correct?
I thought the t1r bottlenecks down to an even smaller daimeter.:dontknow: Don't quote me on that though, but look into it.
i dunno.. i read earlyer while researching that t1r dosent bottle neck
i was i/rbc/rh/e/kpro before. and imo since your in the market for an exhaust. go with the 65mm and do it right the 1st time:thumbsup:

but if you already have the 63mm, just stay with that imo:bow:
65mm, why pair up a 65mm header to something with a smaller ID?

yeah I guess I'll go with your advice

I have read that comptech does bottleneck and even the bcrh as well. Ya gotta grind them down to see their true ID..
I'm strongly considering the T1R Power 70R. JDM blind and I can get it for a good price.

Any ideas to why they would bottleneck them?

Usually it's at the flanges, so in this case, it's simply sloppy manufacturing.

glad i can help:beerchug:

but since were both in CA. just be careful running a 65mm exhaust, especially with a rh. since it will be loud, and i bet you know as well as i do, CALI COPS:thumbsdow:deadhorse
just go with the 63mm exhaust like it says up on the post 2mm is not going to make a difference

The difference between a 63mm and 65mm Exhaust is 6.5% in diameter, add that to the length of the exhaust and maybe it adds up, :dontknow:
Go 3" and be done with it. We all end up wanting to go there eventually.
