I just read some threads on the A-spec package. Yesterday I went to my Acura dealership and got a price quote on the package. I don't plan on buying the package and got the breakdown on the price and part numbers. This was at Norris Acura West in Ellicott City, MD. I'm not sure if the prices will be the same from another dealerships. Here it is:

Part No.=Description=Amount

08W17-S6M-200=17"ALUMIN UPBULK=$928 ($232/rim)

42751-Y0K-030=225/45R17 TIRES= $540 ($135/tire)

08W60-S6M-200=SPORTS SU 12A=$800

08F01-S6M-220=SPOILER *UPBULK=$399

08F02-S6M-220A=WING SPLR UPBULK=$599

08F03-S6M-220=SPOILER * UPBULK=$320

08F04-S6M-220=SPOILER * UPBULK=$450

08U92-S6M-200B=KNOB (6MT 12F=$49

08Z03-S6M-200=PANEL KIT 24D=$249

08F20-SEP-200A=A-SPEC EM 12F=$23

TOTAL comes to $4,357 not including tax or installation. I thought this would be helpful if someone needed the part numbers.

Did you ask if the parts can be purchased separately?

I think it is the third part listed for $800 bucks.

Again, does anyone know if this stuff can be bought separately?? Personally, I wouldn't mind the suspension tweaks.

I was at a local dealer hear in NorCal and saw an A-spec RSX-S. It had everything except for the spoiler. The salesman said it was on order and would be put on soon. In any case I thought it looked okay. It has a little more than a three finger drop (~1.75" to 2" of wheel gap) on it. The wheel gap is the same for the front and back. I didn't like the rims at all. The color was a flat looking silver.

My mouth about dropped to the floor when I saw the MSRP sticker price.... $32,497!!! They listed the dealer installed A-spec package at $8088!!! The salesman said he expected only to sell maybe one.... I was like good luck. Well I guess if someone really really likes the RSX.

Hey pinoy, what dealer are you using? I'm in Delaware, so I'd be interested to see if you get the suspension as a separate piece. I'm actually looking at the Mugen's too, but to get stock Acura/Honda for a couple hundy cheaper might be the way to go instead.

I've been asking around for the springs and honda/acura will not be selling them.. i was pretty pissed to find this out, and you can buy all the parts seperate.. I myself think it would be a better deal to buy it this way

I think the $800 sports suspension includes springs and stiffer shocks. I wouldn't mind getting that if $800 includes installation (assuming you can get these parts separately). There is a pretty good article on the A-spec RSX-S in the latest issue of Road & Track.
