THERE ARE 5 BUILDS ON THIS 1 PAGE CONTINUE SCROLLING DOWN IF INTERESTED IN VIEWING

Well guys I have went a long journey since the day I bought this RSX-S (See pictures Below)

Ive done many different builds in the same RSX Chassis,

THIS THREAD IS NOW pretty DRY. Thank Photobucket for trying to make me pay for 3rd Party Sharing; Sorry Guys.

1) Originally All Motor
2)Turbo (Blown UP)
3) All Motor K24/K20 (Missing LMA Springs)
4) Stock All Motor Build K20Z3
5) K24/K20 All Motor (My Port) 290/205 Issues exhaust valve guide damaged.
5) K24/K20 All Motor 163 Pro 4Piston Port 310/206 Would be more if increasing VTC. (Current Setup)
6) K24/20 All Motor 156V2 4Piston Port 345/226 Increased VTC to 30, as well as decreased head gasket width.

For some background on the car:
Car was purchased as it sits below 51K miles on the Cluster.
Car was COMPLETELY RICE clearly.
The car was my daily for a while until I became more interested in Tracking the car.
Everything done to the car besides (Paint, Transmission FD Install) Were done by ME!
Of course im not talking about the RICE paintjob Below seen. :rotfl:

This build was a bit rushed as at the time the car was my daily. It was short lived also, on my drive home from the dyno the car jumped time and a piston hit a valve and basically destroyed the motor. The motor blew up due to the timing chain tensioner failing and didn't have anything to do with the tune.

Shortly after the tune the car seemed to not be running so well. I originally noticed that in the head of the motor, it was very loud/chattery. So I decided to start pulling the Valve Cover off and do some investigating... Little did I find that I had forgot to put the LMA springs into the head when installing the cams. I didn't put this out there very much tbh because I was pretty embarrassed about it for a while... But you live and you learn. I 100% Built this engine all myself and I am proud of that. That is why the build is basically going to be put on hold until I can get it how I want.

Post K24/K20 Went and picked up a K20Z3 that was tore down did a full OEM rebuild and went and had it dynotuned in the meantime since I had some other things going on.

Also picked up a Aspec Lip Kit, and a Type R wing and had them paint matched to the car. And I think the result turned out great!

Dyno sheet

213hp 154tq on a mustang dyno on a 97 degree day in the dyno room.

End of Stock Motor Rebuild as I sold the motor and now am revamping the car with the K24/K20 Setup. Continue Below to next post for Info on that Setup.

Again after some more modification currently that the car is undergoing, car will be more of a Autocross/Road Racing/Strip Car. Pretty well balaced is my goal, But mostly to have fun with the car.. I wasnt it to be competitive and if possible try to win some money back that I have put into the car.

Removed all Sound Deadening Glue from the Rear

Alright Continuing! Motor is Assembled now, am going to be porting/polishing the intake manifold runners so just more of a test fit at this point but still looks pretty good IMO.

So I am running into clutch lockout at high RPMs due to my pressure plate being too heavy. Wouldve liked to got a new clutch for it but I honestly didn't fell like tearing it out of the car and doing it at this time. So I just decided to set Rev limiter at 8500. The car was able to run a 12.7 at a poorly maintained track with some granny shifting. The first ever run it ran a 12.8 on a well maintained track so I know it with a poor launch. So I know the car as it sits is capable of low 12s. I would reallllly like to see 11s though.

because "Type R" badges are a bit of a stretch. We all know Honda owns Acura so its usually ok to put "H" emblems. But its your car so F what anybody has to say lol
