so my OG 2002 Type-S is no more. 225k ish miles later, and a piston destroyed itself in Cyl 3.

I have zero desire to repair it at this point. So I want to see if it's worth parting out some of the car before i take it to the scrap heap. I have to get it out of the location it's in quickly.

Currently Location: Terre Haute, IN. I'm in Bloomington, IN, so it's possible that I can pick up the parts and bring them back.

So if there's something you want, make a reasonable offer. I'll be deciding what i'm doing very soon.

Interior:
The interior is in mostly perfect condition.
Driver's seat bottom is new. normal wear on the upper.
Passenger seat lower needs re-stitched.
Both front seats need new head rest inserts
Rear seat bottom: needs repair on one side. rest is solid
Shift boot is excellent
OEM shift knob is excellent
everything else is in solid condition.

OEM radio available and working
OEM Subwoofer (yuck) is available
Dash gauges and lights are perfect
Door cards/trim are excellent.
All switches/controls work

Exterior:
most body panels are not worth parting out, but if you wanted them badly...
All OEM.
Headlights work, but are cloudy.
Taillights are perfect
Sunroof works fine.
Front grill is ok
I do have a buddy club 2 fiberglass rear bumper that has a small crack in one part that is going to the dumpster unless someone wants it.

Mechanical:
I'm not going to do any major work to get parts off. If there's something you want, ask. will determine if I can get it or not.
Parts I know I can get at:
* alternator
* water pump
* starter
* intake manifold
* throttle body
* fuel rail
* plastic covers
* valve cover bolts, decorative parts etc...

Misc:
* stock air box (in bloomington)
* Injen CAI.

Wheels:Tires
I have two tires that have less than 5k miles on them.
205/55R-16 HANKOOK VENTUS S1 NOBLE2 SL
and two of the same that have approx 9k miles on them.
tread depth looks great on both.
Both are mounted on rims in great condition.

I have a spare tire that's never been used.

You name it, let me know what you want and how much.

2002 with a perfect OEM shift knob? That's impressive. My 06 is in really good shape, but the shift knob started splitting open a long time ago.

I took the shift knob off 1st week... Been in a drawer for 17 years.

Shift boot was well taken care of

Black interior i assume?

I'm looking for the following-

-center console (the main plastic center with all the cup holders)
-rear hatch carpet center
-rear driver side trunk lining
-brake master cylinder (not 100% necessary if you don't want to mess with it but if you can get it off that would be cool)

If everything is in good condition I'd be interested in picking it all up in bloomington.

I have all of these.

center console is in good condition, might be a bitch to get out.
rear hatch carpet is good
rear driver side trunk linking is good.
brake master cylinder might be too much effort to get out for me.

Anyone else want anything off the car? I'm going today to pull some parts off. If you want anything PM me or post here.

Also, I have a brand new battery that has had zero use on it, just been kept on a tender. I bought it prior to determining the piston was shot.
