I have a 2002 rsx type s and when I hit the gas I get the dyno effect like the rpm will increase but the car will not go until it reaches 4k rmp and the when it hits vtec the car has no problem acclerating. Also whether the car is idle or in motion there is a rattle like metal on metal noise coming around 2.5 to 3k rpm. Also I dont think its the clutch because it has no problem under heavy load like when it hits vtec.

please help!!!
