Well i gave in to all the hype, and i intalled an AEM Dryflow on my V2 a week a ago,and i'm not impressed,it doesn't seem to flow nearly as good as the K&N i had on my base,my engine feels like it's choking, and i'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing

wow...you can feel a difference?
Yes i can,Friday i should recieve my K&N,i hope to see an improvement in throtle response
I got a dryflow and noticed no difference. Which is what i was expecting
yea i dont like the dry flow material i have a k&n filter on there and i like it better
Since you have a V2, it probably was flowing better. You were just sucking more engine heat.
dryflow AEM > k&n

K&N filters are garbage and if you search bobistheoilguy.com in the forums, you'll see why.
lol i just find it funny he can notice a big diference

Injen Pre-Filter = Win
No. The pre-filter just filters particles at a smaller micron (.005 advertised) and is somewhat water repellant.

I use it mainly for the better filtration of road sand/dirt/debri since the CAI filter location is so close to the ground.

I can guarantee you that an oiled cotton gauze filter will outflow a polyester one any day of the week.
Dryflow just filters better new and is easier to clean.. Can't imagine it being that much WORSE than your K&N on A SRI..
Well i intalled my K&N filter this morning, and i can definately feel an improvement in throtle response,i don't think that it makes much more power than with the stock box,it felt like my engine was gasping for air through that tick, felt like material,it just felt like i had lost power with the Dryflow, don't take my word for it,just hold up a Dryflow filter to the light next to a K&N and you'll see what i mean,it's not rocket science, more filtration=less air flow, less air flow=less performance, btw,it doesn't matter if you have a CAI or a SRI the result is still the same, less air going to the engine, anyone iterested in buying my 2 week old AEM Dry"flow"
Dude you are talking 1 or 2hp here. How can you notice that difference?
perhaps a change in weather in your area. I have a v2 and switched to a dry flow, I couldnt feel a difference at all.

I dont know if it's only 1or 2 hp,but i can sur feel the difference,if you go from a dirty filter to a Dryflow you might not feel a difference, but i went from a clean stock filter to Dryflow to k&N and i feelt like the Dryflow made me lose more than 1 or 2 hp,even the hissing sound the engine make when you turn it off was muffled by the thick material that AEM uses
its in your mind man, you aint feel the difference on a filter. lol
