www.jacksonracing.com doesn't have any dyno charts up yet on their Prelude Supercharger...so... :(.

But I believe (IMHO) that you can eventually make more power with a turbo system. You have to spend more money to do it right, and you have to deal with turbo lag, build up the internals if you go over 8 or so psi, upgrade your fuel system, possibly yer clutch too, get an intercooler...etc.

I admire Jackson's bolt-on capability, someone with a good amount of mechanical ability can do it in their own driveway(!!).But if you want to be an ass kicking tour de force, go turbo.

shhhhhhhh.....pfft!

Id stick with the turbo. Much more tunable and I dont know about room, but I heard the SC is hard to install.

If i were in your spot i would s/c and have the engine ported and polished. This will drastically increase the overall flow, which will result is gonna be lots of bang

Turbo if you can afford it. Think about the possibilities. With a boost controller you are not affected by elevation! It maintains the desired boost no matter what. My uncle has a 91 stage 4 300zx with in dash boost controller (dont know the brand?). I'm in love with it.

I have a Paxton supercharged 91 Trans Am I'll be trading in for the type S. Blowers are great, but turbos are more efficient. To adjust boost on a blower you have to swap pulleys, it's MUCH easier to get more boost on turbos.

I lean toward SC's because of the lower maintenance... Both are good of course... Turbo if you just want all that raw power :)
Superchargers i think are not that good for hondas...since the low torque they make...better off turbo

IMO, a SC has just as much maintenance as a turbo. I've heard of people complaining just as much about their SC setups. The only things that I check up on are air/fuel ratios, and oil level. Once I get guardian, the air/fuel ratio would not be an issue. Apart from that, I boost daily without any problems.
