Where do I locate the mass air flow sensor to clean it?

The MAP sensor is an atmospheric pressure sensor? So I don't need to clean that?

The small sensor in the middle of the intake is a temperature sensor?

MAP sensor is on top the throttle body

The Idle Air Control Valve, which would need cleaning, I believe that is on the bottom of the throttle body.

and yes, the small little sensor thing in your intake is a temp sensor

06+Si has a MAF we do not.

They have the ability to slighty A/F tune which is a plus.

But they are also can be more a bish to deal with when modding.

I don't know about the Si guys but other types of cars with a MAF get CEL's from something as simple as a SRI/CAI.

Yah, my 7th gen Celica had a MAF, never had any issues but it was good to clean it every 20,000 miles or so.
7th gen celica's actually had a maf problem that should of been a recall.. a crap load of people had them going out.. my buddy bought a refurbed one for like 114..

back to the topic though.. we dont have maF's because the computer can actually accurately estimate how much air is coming in by the pressure (map) and the temperature (iat)

and why did they decide to put maf's on the 06+ ?
