Have you tried resetting the SRS unit? If you've tried to reset it and the light comes back, the next step is to read the code. You should be able to find threads here for doing both procedures.

I have read that other people had taken their seats out to have the light come on, but I didnt do that. All I did was unbolt my header from my exhaust to take it for test drive with open header. All of a sudden the light came on. Does anybody know what could be the cause of the problem?
