hey guys, I was just wondering why are the shift knobs made out of aluminum better or more sporty or what ever. Whats the difference ? ? ?

yeah.. do you want the stock leather and plastic which is nice, by the way

or do you want the aluminum. a different feel and size.

the aluminum one shifts much better. it actually has some weight to it, that plastic stock piece of crap is useless.

plus that perferated wrap (which isn't leather like someone said) irritated the shit out of my hand. the brushed aluminum is much better.

the only downside is it can get cold as hell in winter, and hot as hell in summer, until the climate control kicks in.

oh, and if you get the aluminum knob, don't let them put that nut on the shifter lever under the knob. it raises the height of the knob and makes shifting awkward.

I just got the aluminum shift knob today and I love it. The install took maybe 3 minutes. I love mine.
