i got into an accident like 6 months ago... some bastard hit me... i had my car fixed at a shop... i also had my car repainted a different color.. i was having some problems with the passenger window and water in my tail light... i went to the dealership and told them about it and this dude was being a bitch and said that i had got into an accident and that my warranty is voided because i got into an accident and i guess because i also got a paint job... i got hit in the front left near the fender so i guess somehow magically it effected my passenger window not working... and the same with the water in the tail light... they told me to take it out and dump the water out... so i got into an arguement with the dude and now im not allowed to go back to that dealership.... is this the same for dealerships or can this be taken care of under warranty?

if he's not the service manager or owner, then his word doesn't count for shit.

call the owner of the dealership and call honda/acura client services (or do they call it customer service)
lol good job ace. You should have stayed calm and assertive says the acura wisperer.
i think he was the service manager... because when i called back to ask about it, they forwarded me to the service manager and it was him
Everyone in the service dept is a service manager. You're probably looking for a service director. He's the guy in charge of everyone.
anybody here work for a dealership?
wow...that sucks...

but from what i know as long as the new problem has nothing to do with the accident or the paint job then its still under warrenty...
isn't their like 2-3 acura dealerships in houston?

just go to another dealership.....

THe closest acura dealership to me is 30 miles away and the next one is about 70 miles away...
An accident doesnt void your warranty completely. If you can prove that the problem you are having is not related to the accident (insurance reports and estimated from the body shop), they should cover that parts. It might not be a good idea to go back to the dealership you went to. Go to a different one, and stay calm. If they are still giving you the run around, ask to make an appointment to speak to the Acura Rep next time he's in town. They usually visit every week or every other week.
