Noob question:

I want to lower my car, possibly slam it, but I don't want to look ridiculous with excessive negative camber in the back. Is there a way to prevent that? I'm pretty sure pulling the fenders won't do the trick.

Camber kits in the rear, camber plate in the front. (If you slam the car you willl need to run a ton of camber, which is lame and trendy)

that's the problem, when you "slam" the car clearances get very small... hence the need for higher amounts of negative camber, rolled fenders ect...

you could increase how much room there is back there by going with narrower wheels and tires.
