was at a prelude meet today, one guy had a strobe kit directly in his headlight.. but he had to drill..

i spoke with a guy who has performed it before and said u could just slip the wire in with ur headlights and let them hang freely..

has anyone attempted this before? and which strobe kit is good ?

:wavey: quang: don't listen to the guy who said you could just let the strobes hang inside the headlights. The wires could easily short to the headlight bulb mounting plate and the 1000 volts for the strobe could get shot right into the electrical system of the car (bye, bye, computer).

All that you have to do is drill a small hole in the bottom of the headlight housing. The new strobes are very small and usually come with a rubber mounting grommet. So after you have the whole drilled, just push in the strobe.

I would recommend that you take the extra time and install them correctly. You will probably be glad that you did.

Just my .02
