One is slightly bent and I'm looking to replace it. Wondering if the front lca matters. I know the bars and struts differ, what about the front lca's?

I've searched.
is this true?:

the 05-06 type-S front LCA are DIFFERENT from the 02-04.

the ball joint taper is LARGER for the 05-06 type-S.

i believe the 05-06 base has the same size ball joint as the 02-04 (type-s and base)

it took a while to find.. only reason i knew where to look was cause i remember reading about it in the past.

EM2/ES2/1 are slightly different. The ball joint hole isn't as tall as the EP3 (and likely the RSX base). The ball joint taper is the same and you can mix and match between the 2, you just have to use shorter ball joint nuts for EP3 arms on EM2/ES2/1 ball joints. The mounting and alignment stuff is the same for both types though.

But if you're upgrading to Type R suspension and Brembo Brake. It doesn't matter whether your car is a Zenki (02-04) or Kouki version (05+)

Doesn't matter if you are changing everything over, since all the mounting points are the same.
