I see a few threads about members trying to make their rims look "flush" with the fender using wheel spacers. Is this safe? does it adversely affect the handling of the vehicle? Does it put stress on the suspension?
From what I understand the RSX's stock offset it +45; would the same effect be had on the suspension and handling of the car if an offset of +30 was applied using an aftermarket wheel?

same answer i put on another guys thread 1 minute ago:

there are many different sizes, but consider the consequences of using them: wear and tear. any offset different than stock is gonna take a toll on your suspension, especially the ball joints, and where them out faster. How much faster is not known, but it inevitably will lead to a sooner than normal ball joint issue. You could probably get away with a 5mm spacer no problem, but 1omm or 20mm and you may need longer wheel studs and then the ball joint wear will begin. Hope this helps you decide!
