Lapping day at NCM Full. Broke H1 Record by like 2 seconds this weekend. But then it was topped with like a 2:17 by a Pirelli World Challenge drive a week or 2 later.

I did my second track day ever at Motorsport Ranch Cresson in Texas:

Motor is stock K20Z1 with an AEM short ram and a Hondata reflash. Stock exhaust and header. OBD2 datalogger showed intake air temperatures steady at 140 deg F during 20 minute sessions on a 80 deg F ambient day. I know from my first track day in 2015 that the Injen CAI runs only about 5 F higher than ambient during the sessions, and I want to put it back on. I took it off a couple years ago after a puddle killed my engine (stalled it temporarily and made it run poorly for about a half hour) and also due to SCCA autocross rules....

Tires are 225/45/17 RE71R on 7.5" rims (chosen for SCCA autocross classing). Suspension is Koni Yellow/Ground control sleeves.

I enjoyed the change of pace from autocross and I will be back at the same track June 6, although probably running in the opposite direction which is faster. I will be on 225/45/15 Rival S tires which will create better gearing than the 17s. (Also lowers COG by 1" without altering suspension geometry).

Try adjusting your seat so that you can put your wrists on the top of the steering wheel when your back is against the seat
Yes. Look how sometimes your fingers are gingerly touching the steering wheel. You should have a solid grip of the steering wheel, ready to make corrections and preparing for the next turn. Use the straights to relax your hands/fingers if they are feeling tense.
