I usually get about 200 miles per tank running my normal tune with all in town driving and lots of boosting. In fact 220 is the most i have ever got.I made a few changes in my kpro calibration and since then my mileage has increased by 100 miles a tank. The changes i made were the maximum kpa for closed loop from 87 to 102 kpa and the vtec settings. The vtec was set for 3000 high and low and 98kpa for both.I kept 3000 for the lower and 5000 for the upper and 102 kpa for both. These 2 changes alone gained me 100 miles per tank.

He's just raising the manifold pressure so that it'll go into boost when it reaches 102 kpa. I would think you were in vtec quite a bit from your old tune? lol I get about 500 KMs or 310 miles at the moment. I think there's quite a few threads floating around that can also help with gas mileage.

The car needs to be pushed a lot harder to go into boost and high cam where it used to all the time.It actually runs smoother now then it did down low before.Wish i would have done this a long time ago,i had 295miles and the gas light still didn't come on.Not bad mileage for running over 12psi.

It's not the amount of boost that you have, it's the amount of time your foot in on the floor using said boost. Just cruising around part throttle isn't going to burn alot of gas. I was getting 29mpg at part throttle and 1mpg at 15psi.

I find humid weather kills gas mileage as well. I'ts been pretty hot/humid here in Toronto the past few weeks and I noticed my gas mileage drop, and I only boost a couple times a day on the way to work.

I get 28 MPG

3000 Vtec low
and 5500 Vtec High

Stock JRSC 10 PSI calibration :dontknow:

You were basically in VTEC all the time which is

Thats why your gas was piss poor. Not to mention idk how good it is on the motor running that high cam all the time.

Wow, you didn't have your vtec upper point set to 5000 or higher? Damn. That's a big hit. The high cam (vtec) is terrible for power and economy if your'e in vacuum. That was what did it.

I can imagine you were just drinking fuel. 3k vtec while in vacuum is amazingly bad. I bet it felt like shit unless you were on the gas a bit when you hit 3k. LOL.
