How in the hell did you do such a good job of keeping the paint where it's supposed to be?! Krylon Fusion - you spray painted them?!

Those rims arent on the car right now but the center caps are on my stock rims. i covered the cap with blue painters tape. and cut it out with an exacto knife and just sprayed 2 coats. Took 10 minutes. Will post pics on the car later

Good steady hands......I would have made a mess of it.

I did make a mess of mine and ended up buying some decals that were pre-cut to fit the "A".
Heres some pics, cars really really dirty and the lights bad so theyaren't great.
Nice, I wanna do mine RED
exactly wut im about to do, painting my stockies black and paint the A white =). i'll post some pics up later next week and maybe the DIY for it.
Here's the diy:
Materials needed: Blue painters tape
x-acto knife
spray paint(krylon fusion works well)

1) Kinda obvious but wash them off or else if theres any grease they are gonna turn out awful.

2) wrap them in tape. The less the tape overlaps the easier it is but there need to be some overlap.

3) Use the x-acto knife( you could use another type of blade but this definatly makes it the easiest) to cut the tape. Cut it in short stretches on both sides. If you cut for to long on one the tape starts to sag and becomes a pain. Also be careful around where the pieces of tape overlap cuz it tends to get bunched up.

3A) If it rips up at any of the edges just take a piece of tape and pull it taught across the gap and trim it along the edge

4) After you've removed all the tape from the center it should look like this.

No need to try and get it perfect a little overhang wont affect anything.

5) Lay them out and paint. 2-3 coats work fine. They can be a little on the thick side if the ground you place them on is flat since theres no where for the paint to run. In the process of cutting the tap ull probably scratch up the surface pretty bad so if you put the paint on to thin youll be able to see lines from the tip of the blade.

6) Peel off the tape. If any paint got under the tape just take some papertowel soaked in paint thinner and rub it off.

Damn that turned out very well! +rep on the nice write-up!
That's actually pretty nice man. Good job
good idea with the painters tape
what you can also do is buy the sticker that goes there.. they sell them on 247acuraparts.com and you just paint and stick them back on

Or you can follow this DIY. Might I add it was very well done! Good job man.
Dupli-Color has OEM colors in spray cans.

I blacked out my emblems and painted my ITB manifold with NHBP.
I used Honda Rally Red as a background for my rear "A".

PS Your paint job came out very nice.
