I had a few people inquire about my fuel setup and how to do it. I made up this cheesy diagram in paint, it gets the job done.

Note: This is the fittings that worked best for me and the way I ran my lines. Determine where you want to mount your FPR and go from there. Mine is mounted on the passenger side firewall right behind the left side of the motor. Also, these fittings are for a BDL fuel rail, Aeromotive Filter and A1000 regulator, and -8 Feed/-6 Return

Fittings:

- -6 AN Plug (For Aeromotive FPR)
- (6) -8 AN Straight Hose Ends
- (1) 90 Degree Bulkead Fitting w/ Nut
- (3) Reducers -8 AN --> -6 AN
- (1) -8 AN Coupler
- (2) -6 AN Couplers
- (1) -6 AN 60 Degree Hose End
- (1) -6 AN 45 Degree Hose End
- (1) -6 AN Straight Hose End

Tubing:

- ~15 FT -8 AN Braided Stainless Tubing
- ~ 15 FT -6 AN Braided Stainless Tubing
- ~ 2 FT High Pressure Rubber Fuel Line 1/2" (Fits Perfectly to -8AN Bulkhead and Walbro Fuel Sock)

Fuel Setup:

- Fuel Pressure Gauge w/ 1/8" NPT Port
- BDL Fuel Rail
- Aeromotive A1000 Fuel Pressure Regulator
- Aeromotive Inline Fuel Filter
- Bosch 044 Fuel Pump (Ask Vendor what fittings, mine came w/ them)
- Walbro Fuel Sock

Miscellaneous:

- Nitrol -6AN/-8AN O-Rings --> For Fuel Rail and FPR fittings/ Also Bulkhead
- Hardware to Mount Pump (I used a two plumping brackets from a local hardware store) Kind of like strapping tape but thicker.
- Stainless Steal Self Tapping Screws
- Hose Clamps ( For in the tank and the return line)
- Summit Insulated Hose Clamps -8AN/-6AN (To mount lines under car securely)

More Notes:

-Mount the pump lower than the fuel sock pickup, otherwise you will not have enough fuel pressure.
- Make sure it is high enough though that it is out of harms way.
- Secure all lines about every 6 inches with Insulated Hose Clamps

Thats it for now, I'm sure I'll add some more shit.

Nice post, but you also need a -6an plug for the 2nd port of the FPR, yea I'm nitpicking :wavey:
Damn it, and the funny part is that I forget that plug when I ordered my setup also.

where is the pump in that drawing?
LOL, of all the people that looked at that diagram you are the only one that noticed.

Edit: Fixed and 6AN plug on FPR added

No prob, I'll be doing one shortly using hardlines within the tank and dual Bosch 044's.

nj, where did u pick up ur parts from???

whats the difference in putting 2 bosch pumps instead of 1???
I got all my fittings and lines from summitracing

Bosch pumps came from Jay-racing

One pump is good until ~600-650 depending on exact setup. I.E. Injectors, feed line, return, FJO driver or Resistor box etc.

I'm trying to stick w/ a smaller injector (1000's), stock plastic tank and still make 750+. Therefore I'm going to run dual bosch's each with a seperate hardline pickup

as far as my setup, do i have to run a fjo driver or resistor box??
FJO allows you to get a little extra out of your injectors.

I personally went w/ a resistor box and have no complaints. Areas like this I would recommend you speak w/ your tuner and see what he prefers.

Excuse my ignorance but could you specify which are female end and which are male end fittings? Fuel set-up is a little new to me. Correct me if I'm wrong but i think you mean to say "(1) Reducers -8 AN --> -6 AN & (2) Reducers -10 AN --> -8 AN" instead of "(3) Reducers -8 AN --> -6 AN."

One last thing, which head gasket do you use and what's your experience with them. What do you recomend about the tranny as far as liquid, treatments, exchange, reving, etc.
